Two American hackers, Jonathan and James, with the internet name of “c0mrade” hacked NASA computers in 1999, causing NASA to shut down for 21 days. They invaded Pentagon weapons computer system, accessed 3,300 emails, stole passwords, all the while, posed as an employee using only a Pentium computer.
It all started when the two installed a backdoor in a computer server in Virginia. The pair ended up becoming the first juveniles incarcerated for cybercrime in the US.
